  12. CHRONOS, THE GUARDIAN

  14. Chronos was one of several guardians serving a race of time travelers that 
  15. placed seven items upon the Earth to be revealed to mankind at a time 
  16. appropriate for the advance of civilization.
  17.  
  18. First encountered in the Golan Heights area by the ancient Babylonians, the 
  19. ageless Chronos had successfully defended his treasure against the 
  20. Assyrians, the Persians, and the Muslims, before it was plundered during 
  21. the Crusades. Leaving his lair for the first time in over a millenia, Chronos
  22. stalked the Earth, pursuing the dark knight which defiled the time travelers 
  23. shrine. The two met in a final confrontation from which neither survived.

  25. Chronos possesses a mastery of magic as well as savage physical attacks. His 
  26. scaled hide and bony crest make him resistant to many attacks, as well as 
  27. enabling him to perform a brutal headbutt.
  28.  
  29. His aggressive nature in combat permits no quarter for his enemies. However, 
  30. he has grown arrogant over the years and tends to gloat over fallen 
  31. opponents, rather than finishing them off.

  34. RAZOR
  35.  
  36. Spawned in the lab of the Venus Alpha Science Station, Razor is the product 
  37. of a genetic engineering product gone wrong. Relentless and vicious, Razor 
  38. wreaked havoc aboard the station and slew his creators before escaping to 
  39. Earth and the rain forests of South America.
  40.  
  41. Launching murderous raids into the human villages by night, Razor struck 
  42. terror into the hearts of the natives. Many heavily armed teams were sent 
  43. into the jungle after the creature, only to return with heavy casualties. 
  44. After tbe great earthquake of 2132 AD, Razor disappeared but remained a 
  45. terrible legend among the locals.
  46.  
  47. Razor can twist its thorny vines into numerous shapes and can sink beneath 
  48. the ground to strike from below. Razor's thorns contain a painful toxin, and 
  49. can be hurled great distances.
  50.  
  51. Razor possesses a vicous and cunning mind. It is cautious, and prefers to 
  52. strike from below or when an enemy is incapacitated. Hwoever, it will not 
  53. hesitate to lull an enemy into carelessness, then strike with a blitzkreig 
  54. of shredding blows. Razor's shifting vines are able to blunt most attacks, 
  55. but are vulnerable to blades or other sharp weapons.

  68. WARRIORS move by using the keyboard or joystick as shown below. Attacks with 
  69. the right or left arm are made by using the movement keys/joystick and 
  70. pressing Fire Button #1. Most other attacks are made by using the movement 
  71. keys/joystick and pressing Fire Button #2. Special move/attack keys for this
  72. release are documented. All begin by depressing any Fire Button and "charging"
  73. your special attack resevoir to the required strength then pressing the
  74. appropriate key.

  93. All movement keys shown below are assuming the warrior is facing to the right
  94. and would be reversed if the warrior is facing left. Note that attack keys
  95. are NOT reversed when the warrior changes directions. In this way, pushing a
  96. movement key/joystick to the left and pressing Fire Button #1 will always
  97. result in a left arm attack, etc.
